“The house was very clean and as advertised. The location was great for out weekend plans, the drive to the Homestead and Jefferson pools was not bad at all. We had a great weekend at this house!”

“Everything was perfect. I've never seen a VRBO rental that was so thoughtfully and completely appointed. There was seemingly no detail, no matter how small, that escaped Gary and Pamela's attention. For example, they supplied umbrellas and a first aid kit (not that we needed it). We regularly rent via VRBO and I can say without exaggeration, I've never seen hosts that sought to think of everything a guest might need and still seek feedback on how to improve further! Great experience!”

“The location was great, nice coffee shop across the street for breakfast. The unit was generally clean, but the corners and window ledges were a bit dirty. There is an issue with the little ladybug like beetles. Also, there was leftover animal hair on the furniture from a prior guest with a pet. Nothing problematic enough to contact the host while there. The mattresses were VERY firm, so they weren’t ideal for my husband and I. The body aches were solved by a soak in the warm springs, which were……

“This was our groups first stay at this property and we were not disappointed! The communication with the host, Ryan, was excellent, the cabin was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs, looking at the mountains. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus that we enjoyed very much. The cabin was very clean and the yard was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. We will……

“This was a last-minute stay. It was an excellent choice though. The house was great! It was clean, easy to find and parking was no problem. It was a little more than I was wanting to pay but it was well worth it. Communication was no problem. She responded fast and was so helpful with what I needed. Lastly, but the most important (in my opinion) are the beds. They were nice and comfortable. There were only 2 of us that stayed so I can only vouch for 2 of the bedrooms. We will stay again. ”

“The place was located well for our trips to Warm Springs pools, and it served us well. We had some difficulty with the sharp right turn into the driveway, but we managed it multiple times. We were a little concerned about the floor in one of the bathrooms (the one attached to a room, not the one that opened into the common area). It felt like the floor was a little unstable; perhaps the beautiful tile wasn't attached well. All in all, we would use this place again.”

“A better experience than we could ever have hoped for. The house and location are gorgeous with lots of deer sightings. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to prepare all our meals. We stayed for a week and still didn’t manage to take advantage of all the amenities offered (fireplace, outdoor fire pit, boardgames, etc.). Located extremely close to the northern end of Lake Moomaw and the Hidden Valley Recreation Area. The gate on the front porch allowed our pup to enjoy the sunrises……

“We enjoyed our girls trip so much. Walked around the Homestead, bathed in the warm springs, and dinner at the water wheel. Lots of talking around the table and while lounging in the livingroom. ”

“We recently spent 3 nights at the Tower View apartment--an upgrade offered by the owner, as the Stream View apartment occupant wished to extend his stay. What a lovely apartment it is! The Sam Snead Tavern (which will reopen on May 15) is next door and the LCDO (French cuisine) restaurant and the Jackson River Cafe are on either side of the apartment. The property is within walking distance of The Homestead. We enjoyed using the kitchen for evening meals, since we played golf each afternoon and……

“Beds comfortable, clean. Nice and quiet. Bare amenities but really all you need. Appreciate the coffee bar. Not sure of recent water testing. Recommend bringing drinking water with if you worry about those things. Close to so many things to do. Would stay again.”
